President of SIMfX, Jake Jacobson is responsible for day-to-day operations, vision and direction of the company. In addition, he is responsible for development of the program. Jake's career spans 35 years in the firefighting industry beginning when he was in university. For the last 20 years he has been serving both as a Fire Warden for the Ministry of Forests, and as an officer for the Salmon Arm Volunteer Fire Department. He is also a contract trainer for Wildland firefighting courses. Since 1997 he has devoted most of his time to creating and marketing the five SIMfX simulation programs. |
